Jr Helpers and Adult Helpers
What does a VBS Volunteer do?
They provide support to this exciting event for New Hope KIDS and students in the community by:
Helping before the event (decorating, preparing lessons, games, crafts, Bible lessons, gathering supplies, etc.)
Helping during VBS week (leading student crews, serving snacks, preparing meals for volunteers, registering students, providing direction and security, working behind the scenes, etc)
Who Can volunteer?
Students who are going to be in 7th grade Fall 2026 can start to volunteer as a Jr Helper! Jr helpers and adults are both encouraged to volunteer!
What do I do to prepare?
Start praying for the event, students, volunteers!
Mark your calendar for VBS: July 12th-July 17th, 2026 (Outdoor closing party will take place on the 17th)
Complete a background check (we’ll send you a link)
Attend the Volunteer training meal/meeting on Wednesday, June 17th- 6:00-7:30pm
