Summer Small Groups

Board Games are Great | Common Interest Group | Love to play strategic games, eat good food, and be inspired by God’s word? Us too!! This small group is for High-school and up and is for those who enjoy in-depth strategic board games.

  • Dates and times are still being developed, and the details will be out shortly.

The Big Picture | Common Interest Group | Grow in authentic relationships over the love of puzzling. If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles, then you’ll fit into this group! Combined with Bible lessons and personal testimonies, this group will focus on trusting God's guidance and recognizing one's own unique value and strengths that contribute to the big picture… all while enjoying the process of putting together jigsaw puzzles. Summertime can be full, but we still want to meet up for some puzzle fun. 

  • Meeting Saturday mornings at 9:00am, June 20th & July 25th

  • At New Hope Christian Church

  • Facilitated by Kaeli Bell, Audra Caldwell & Cassie Schultz

  • The group is geared toward ladies. Littles can come and play outside or play/puzzle alongside the group.

Entry Point | Join this group for as a great starting point for new members or those wanting to know how to get connected with New Hope.  Starting May 27th, you are invited to participate for 7 weeks this Summer for the opportunity to know about NHCC beliefs, practices or how you can become more involved.

Faithful Steps | Join us this summer for a relaxed walking small group at Red Hills State Park! We’ll begin with a casual walk around the lake, then gather for a short devotional while we cool off and enjoy a drink together. Come as you are, bring a friend, and take some faithful steps into your week together.

  •  Thursday mornings @ 7:30am from June 4th – July 30th

  • Location: Red Hills State Park — Lake Side (Boat Dock)

  • All ages and walking paces welcome. Fur babies welcome (if they do well with other dogs and small children)

  • Co-led by Kaeli Bell & Amy Seed

Rise and Abide | A summer group for women. Meeting once a month for breakfast, worship and a devotion.

  •  Meeting on Saturday mornings. 8:00am at New Hope

  • Dates: June 6th, July 11th, and August 8th

  • Led by Jennifer Grimes & Whitney Millis

Seeds and Scripture | Friends, flowers and God: Just as flowers require special soil, water, sunlight, and pruning, friendships need trust, love and time to grow all rooted in the divine love of our Creator. Join this group to enjoy light snacks and a devotion, along with tips and tricks for raising healthy flowers and perhaps even sharing ideas on keeping out pests.

  • Starting June 1st, meeting five Mondays this summer from 9:00-10:30am

  • Meeting at New Hope Christian Church

  • Including a trip to the Wild Child Flower Farm  

  • Led by Donna Martin


Year Round Groups

The Breakfast Club | Hang out with your Peers. Eat Breakfast. Engage in convos & discover what Christ says about a variety of topics that are especially relatable to your age group! 

  • For High School seniors to Young Adults

  • TBC is an on-going group that meets Sunday mornings at Spencer & Jeannie Vaughn’s home.

  • This group is always welcome to having new members come.

  • From 9:30am-10:30am | finished in time to make it to New Hope’s 11:00am service

Wednesday Night Mens’ Group | Men’s Bible Study | Join a group of men interested in growing deeper in their faith and Christian community. This group is studying the Bible, and more specifically they will be focusing on the life of Paul.

  • Studying the Bible and planning some activities this summer.

  • Meets every Wednesday night from 6pm-8pm in the Youth House.

  • Facilitated by Luke Brown

Women’s Bible Study | contributing in thoughtful discussion while studying through a book of the Bible. Currently reading the book of 1st Corinthians. This group meets all year long and welcomes new members to join! Led by Linda Bellville.

  • Welcoming all women. This group is always welcome to having new members come.

  • Meets weekly on Tuesday, from 9am-10:30am at Linda Bellville’s home
